Founding Directors: Joel & Tennile Carver

Paradosi Christian Ballet Company, is Northwest's first professional Christian ballet company in US. Their dance pieces are very much worship inspired using Ballet, contemporary and lyrical movements along with hymns and worship songs remixed with a contemporary twist. All their dancers are professionally trained in their school of arts headed by Tennile Carver.

Tennile Carver was raised as a pastor's kid but chose a life of a professional dancer. At the age of 18, she joined the prestigious Christian Ballet Company called the Ballet Magnificat. She was professionally trained and mentored by Kathy Thibodeaux, Founder of Ballet Magnificat and silver medalist in the 1982 International Ballet competition. After 3 years of training and dancing, Tennile married Joel and began teaching at the school of Arts for Ballet Magnificat and other Trainee programmes for the company. She toured with them for 7 years.

After 10 years in the ministry, the couple were led to Michigan where Tennile ran a dance school of 500 over students and was also school principal, teacher, administrator and director for Jackson Ballet Company.

Not long after that, the Lord called them back to their home in Seatle to start a Christian School of Arts and also Paradosi Christian ballet company.

Acrobatics + drama + dance= “AcroDramance”


The blending of several art forms is definitely a trend in modern productions that is influencing our society and being very successful in our world today. We have heard of Cirque Du Soleil, a leader in modern day circus movement and other dramatic production storylines such as Stomp, Blast, Riverdance...

The “AcroDramance Theater Company,” was founded by Pastor Steven and Betsy Gonzalez. They both came to the Lord in 1978 and had to put aside their strong dance and gymnastics background to serve God. But it was God’s plan to restore those gifts and talents to create a whole new ministry in 1997 called Way of Life Worship and Arts Ministries International. For 27 years, Pastor Steven & his family were involved in many ministry areas in the church including worship leading, children and youth pastoring, associate pastoring, Christian education directing, Clowning evangelism, mission work, school of the arts directing, teaching, and more. Betsy is fourth generation ballet dancer and the Company ballet instructor. Her parents danced and met at the Metropolitan Opera House Company in New York City. Pastor Steven is also trained in ballet and modern dance. They both have a background in gymnastics training, coaching, and judging under the United States Gymnastics Federation (USGF).








































Under the direction of Pastor Steven and Betsy, and now following in their leadership footsteps their son Esteban Gonzalez and his wife Michelle, the innovative and pioneering style of AcroDramance™ has been developed and implemented to give the AcroDramance Theater Company a category of its own in the field of movement arts. This style has opened the doors for The Company to minister and teach in Worship and Arts Conferences, Christian and secular music concerts, and to do evangelistic work across the United States and in several international countries including Israel, Puerto Rico, Barbados, Colombia, and Ecuador.Under His powerful anointing, their production style brings the Bible to life by combining theatrical elements with creative choreography and excellent execution of AcroDramance skills.




AcroDramance is a tool that reaches this generation of visually inspired young people, touching their hearts and challenging their spirits as they experience it.
