It is a liturgical white dance dress that she got on ebay for USD9. A mother in her church made the overlay for her as a gift. The pattern is a vogue pattern (found in her e-book garments of glory)and the fabric was about USD12.

What is the mercy seat of God? To me it is the throne of God, where Christ sits and reign but because of the work of the cross, the judgement seat has turned into the Mercy seat of god.... where grace & love abounds.
For now there is no condemnation for those who are in christ Jesus! So let us approach Our heavenly Father boldly with confidence that we are forever forgiven through Christ who has set us free from the law of sin & death!

A guy who has lost his leg dances with a girl who has lost her arm in a car accident. The dance won first prize in annual dance competition on CCTV9 international, Beijing (China). THE DANCE SHOWS HOW MUTUAL SUPPORT AND FRIENDSHIP CAN MAKE OUR LIFE EASY AND HAPPY.
Umoja is a Swahili word meaning "Solidarity." Solidarity denotes unity, harmony, team spirit and commonality. Although a diverse group, they unite to offer up praises in a most inspirational way.
Umoja is the conception of Eleanor Elcock and with this ensemble she has fused her enthusiasm for dance with her fervor for God and has given birth to an ensemble that encapsulates the spirit with each liturgical movement; sending it upward in high praise and outward to touch the hearts and spirits of all those looking on.
I LOVE THEIR CHOREOGRAPHY!! The Dance is not just a performance but it managed to involve the audience and makes the congregation feel like dancing and singing out to the Lord Jesus too! I am dancing now too...
I'm still always fascinated and moved by lyrical dance pieces. This video clip is a lyrical dance piece done by the Kiaro Dance Company (in South Korea), directed by Se-Yang Jung. Song is "Winter" by Tori amos. Absolutely breath taking. Thumbs up again to the Koreans! I love the fluid movements and the tension release of the dance.
It's been a while since we've been blogging. Anyway, Alicia and Lynnette now are relocated back to Johor, Malaysia (border of malaysia and singapore). So, farewell my dear dance team members.... we will always miss you all!!! But keep on dancing passionately for the lord Jesus ya?

Time and time again I am reminded through this song about surrendering everything to God and Saying "yes" to Him at all times.... even though it is painful. Even though of all the uncertainties or the unanswered prayers or the bewildering moments.. Today, I've received a shocking and sad news that had happened to my friend.... and I Kept wondering, "Why lord? Do you allow so much pain and suffering in this world? Especially to those who love you?" As painful as it seems..... God doesnt owe us any explanation. But yet He welcomes all questions and doubts... AND He comforts us still when we allow Him to. And no matter what He still wants a "yes" from us even in these trying times.... "Yes lord?"
